Season 4 Week 6 has brought another batch of Trials to ARC Raiders, and this set is more about smart routing than raw grinding. If you're trying to save materials, protect your better gear, or even buy ARC Raiders Items to speed up your prep, it's worth going in with a plan instead of wandering from fight to fight. You don't need perfect runs for three stars, but you do need to know where the useful targets are, which enemies are worth your time, and when to leave before one bad push ruins the whole attempt.
Quick route for this week- Start with container looting at the Hotel on Riven Tides
- Move to Dam Battlegrounds for computer searches
- Hunt ground ARC units only when you've got cover and ammo
- Use safe melee tactics against a Bombardier for close-range points
- Bring Seeker Grenades if Spotters keep slipping away
How Trials workTrials unlock once you reach player level 15, and they act like a weekly ranked ladder. Each challenge pays out points, and those points turn into one, two, or three stars depending on the threshold. The stars matter because they hand out rewards, but the leaderboard placement matters too. You're grouped with 100 players in your rank. The top 20 usually get the strongest promotion, the next group still moves up, and the bottom end can drop down. So, yes, three stars are nice. But clean runs with extra points are what keep you climbing.
Challenge breakdown| Trial | Best approach | What to watch for | | Open containers inside the Hotel | Loot every searchable box, bag, and locked-room container in the Hotel POI on Riven Tides | Other squads often pass through early, so don't linger too long | | Damage ground-based ARC enemies | Target Bastions, Bombardiers, and Leapers for fast points | Pick fights from cover, especially at higher ranks | | Search Computers | Go to Research and Admin on Dam Battlegrounds and check the upper floor rooms | Computers can be spread across desks and side rooms | | Deal melee damage to ARC enemies | Use adrenaline shots, then safely punch a Bombardier between attacks | Back off when the gravity blast animation starts | | Damage Spotters | Look near Bombardiers at Buried City or Blue Gate, then use Seeker Grenades | Spotters move a lot, so don't waste half your ammo chasing them | Safer ways to earn three starsYou'll quickly notice that the easier Trials are the ones tied to objects, not enemies. Hotel containers and computers can be cleared with a light kit, and that's perfect if you're only chasing the star rewards. The combat tasks need more care. For ground ARC damage, a single Bombardier or Bastion can often push you close to the three-star mark, so don't feel forced to clear the whole zone. For melee damage, don't try to be brave in the open. Pop an adrenaline shot, hit the Bombardier a few times, reset, then go again. It's slower, but it works.
Gear choices that make the run easierFor this week, I'd bring a cheap but reliable gun, a stack of healing, a few adrenaline shots, and at least one Seeker Grenade if Spotters are on your list. You don't need to risk your flashiest kit unless you're pushing leaderboard score, and even then, play like someone else is always nearby. Save your best ARC Raiders weapons for the runs where you're farming extra points from Bastions and Bombardiers, then extract once the key Trials are done instead of getting greedy near the end of the raid.
